Battle of the hoses
Local fire departments gathered on Saturday, June 20, for a round of battle of the hoses. The friendly battle was suppose to begin at 2 p.m., but kept being delayed due to multiple response calls. Pictured above, members of the New London Fire Department battle to get the barrel, which has been placed on a line, to the opponents end of the line by moving it with water from the hose.
