The Washington Iowa Betterment Foundation Board is pleased to present the Sitler Award to Greiner Buildings’ Owners, Matt and Ashley Greiner. This award recognizes a business or residence that improves and beautifies the City of Washington. Following a Nov. 22, 2022 fire of unknown origin, Matt and Ashley were committed to rebuild and renovate their Greiner Building. The project’s completion is beautiful and maintains the integrity of the former library building. It provides office space for their business and other businesses are located in their Greiner Plaza. Thanks, Matt and Ashley for your commitment to better Washington!

The Washington Iowa Betterment Foundation Board also presented the Sitler Award to Jeanne and Gary Kos for their lovely flowers through spring, summer and fall and their 615 W. Adams St. residence. Their gorgeous flower beds have brightened up the day of every passerby for months! Thanks, Jeanne and Gary.
