Big turnout for Brighton egg hunt

BRIGHTON — Organizers said they were pleased with participation at an Easter Egg Hunt over the weekend, the first in the community since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attending kids were all smiles, whether they were running toward a field of eggs tucked into the grass or waiting for the event to start, while meeting with the Easter bunny and characters from the Trolls movie, who arrived riding a Brighton firetruck.

“I’m excited to see all the community come out,” organizer Connie Blosser-Emry said. “We’ve had the support of the community to bring it together … it’s good to see everyone coming out and having some fun together. I think everybody enjoyed seeing each other and having an event.”
