At age 17, designer Jennifer Barclay started making clothing that made her feel comfortable, stylish and happy.
She quickly realized that many women wanted the same thing. Since 1986, Barclay has been designing playful, vibrant and artistic clothing that has became popular throughout the country.
Blue Fish Clothing is easy-to-wear, artistic clothing that is inspiring, creative, fresh and unique, with styles that appeal to every age, shape and style. Season after season, year after year, styles and patterns work together, enabling wearers to build a functional collection. The clothing lasts for years and customers treasure each piece.
Blue Fish has been using organic fibers, recycled cottons and other natural fibers such as hemp, linen and silk blends since 1995. A lot of its buttons are hand made, vintage or recycled. It?s a step toward a people- and planet-friendly style of clothing. All Blue Fish Clothing is designed and made in the USA and local artisans hand print each piece.
Blue Fish Clothing has stores in Fairfield as well as Frenchtown, N.J. and Taos, N.M., and a webstore at www.bluefishclothing.com
