Body of missing Birmingham woman found
The body of Kathryn Ruth Schafer, 88, of the Kilbourne community southwest of Birmingham, was found at 2:30 p.m. today in the Des Moines River north of Keosauqua.
An autopsy will be performed by the Iowa State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
Arrangements for a memorial service are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
