Brad C. Koelblinger, 59, of Fairfield died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012.
A celebration of his life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 11th at St. Gabriel and All Angels. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Memorials preferred to the family for donations to be determined at a later date.

Brad C. Koelblinger, 59, of Fairfield died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012.

Brad was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 10, 1952, the son of Charles and Dorothy Koelblinger. He married Janice Barland on April 26, 1974 and they made their home in Burnsville, MN. Brad was a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Program and served as Center Chairman for the Minneapolis TM Center in the 1970?s and 80?s.
In 1987 he moved his family to Fairfield so that his children could attend Maharishi School. Brad founded his own research and design company, Fairfield Design and Manufacturing. The products he developed ranged from a hospital patient lift to spa equipment. He earned several patents for his work.
Brad?s determination and grace was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished son and brother. Survivors include his wife, three children: Sharon of Philadelphia, PA, Brian of Fairfield, and Laura of Boston, MA, his father of Brooklyn Center, MN, and his sister Lisa Koelblinger of Minnetonka, MN.
His mother and grandparents preceded him in death.
