Branstad, Reynolds to host drought meeting in Mt. Pleasant
Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will host a two-hour public meeting in Mt. Pleasant on the severe dry and D1 drought conditions that have plagued Iowa this summer.
The meeting is set for Tuesday, July 17, at 9 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant High Community High School Gymnasium.
The meeting will also include officials from several state agencies and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
