Bridge Replacement on Juniper Avenue and 325th Street

WASHINGTON COUNTY — Beginning Monday, Jan. 10, Juniper Avenue will be closed 350 feet south of the intersection with 325th Street for a bridge replacement project.
The existing bridge is being replaced because it is currently posted with a weight restriction and is narrow, creating a detour for larger vehicles and equipment to get around in the area.
The project consists of replacing the existing bridge over the creek with a twin 12x8’ by 38’ reinforced concrete box culvert, a process that will take around 3-4 months, weather permitting.
Iowa Bridge and Culvert of Washington was awarded the project with a bid of $240,684.43.
