Brighton city clerk started job Wednesday

BRIGHTON - Michelle Talley is Brighton's new city clerk and officially started on Wednesday.

Talley was born and raised in Washington. She is married to Greg Talley and has four children, Kirk, Shelbi, Linsey and Jacqlyn; four grandchildren and one more on the way.

Her working life has always involved office work and when the opportunity arose to work for the city, Talley saw it as a way to be a part of the community.

'It's something new and exciting,” she said.

She said she hopes to remain in the position and community for the years to come.

'I'm really excited to start this new adventure in my career,” she said. 'I'm looking forward to meeting the citizens of Brighton that i'm not already familiar with.”
