Rosemary Pacha of Brighton reported she's been observing the birds on her farm, and six to eight martins have arrived so far.
Joel and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield provided tacos at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz of Brighton on April 19.
On April 20, Lucy Dietzman with Malcolm and Brenden of Keosauqua provided groceries for her mother, Winifred Fritz.
Sophia and Julia Fritz of Brighton visited their grandma, Winifred Fritz, on April 22. They rode their four-wheelers out to see the geese. They also wanted to see the fence that their dad Joe and Uncle Tony were working on.
Winifred Fritz received phone calls from her granddaughter Megan Berry of Odessa, Missouri, on April 22. She also received a phone call from church friend Carol Robison.

Megan Berry of Odessa, Missouri, arrived at the house of her grandma Winifred Fritz of Brighton on April 10. She returned home on April 13.
They were joined on Easter by Winifred's children: Lucy Dietzman of Keosauqua, Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, who all helped provide the dinner.
That evening Joe and Lori Fritz and family of Brighton with a friend from Chicago visited his mother and niece, Winifred and Megan.
Winifred Fritz received phone calls from Bob's nephew from Solon. Her sons also called. Charles Fritz of Sigourney called April 10, and Greg Fritz of Fairfield called April 9.
Pat Remington of Brighton celebrated Easter at her home with grandson Cody and Mackenzie of Oskaloosa. Cody grilled out for their dinner. They spent the afternoon and early evening playing cards.
Sister Janet Kreber called Winifred from Sioux City on April 14 to wish her a belated birthday.
