Washington Performing Arts Series proudly presents Jeremy Stolle, recently seen as the lead character in Broadway’s "Phantom of the Opera” in New York City. Stolle will perform on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center, in the Washington High School at 1111 South Avenue B, Washington, Iowa.
Organizers said Stolle would “showcase a night of Broadway songs, soaring high notes, classic music, vocal versatility and hilarious stories,” adding, “This is a heartfelt performance about life, love, and the perseverance it takes to make it on Broadway.”
The performer’s diverse theater credits include the workshop production of Broadway’s A Tale of Two Cities, Music Theater Wichita’s Seven Brides for Seven Brother’s (Adam) and Thoroughly Modern Mille, (Trevor Graydon), North Shore Music Theater’s Camelot (Lionel), and multiple national productions of Beauty and the Beast, (Gaston). Jeremy also played the title role in Jekyll and Hyde and Scarlet Pimpernel.
Stolle originated the role of Jehan Frollo in the off-Broadway production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, as well as on the 2016 cast album.
Tickets for the Nov. 1 Jeremy Stolle event are $20 for adults, $10 for college students and free for all K-12 students. Tickets are available online or can be purchased at the door one hour prior to the event.
