Award recognizes Hewitt?s work

Award recognizes Hewitt?s work
Karen Hewitt, associated with ERA Fairfield Read Estate, has been awarded the Bronze Individual Achievement Award by the Iowa Association of Realtors.
The award, initiated in 1988 to recognize professional excellence in real estate activities, signifies the participation of the recipient in the listing, sale or leasing of up to $2,490,000 in real estate transactions.
Hewitt, a member of the Fairfield Multiple Listing Service, the Southeast Iowa Board of Realtors, the Iowa Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, has been associated with ERA Fairfield Real Estate since 2007 and has received the award each year since.
Yarbrough joins Edward Jones
A third financial advisor, Caleb Yarbrough, has joined John Stever and Brian Olson with Edward Jones in Fairfield.
Yarbrough will work out of Stever?s office during the next several months, then will continue serving investors throughout the area.
Keller joins Bob?s Automotive
Clint Keller is joining the customer service staff at Bob?s Automotive, where he will be assisting service manager Jeremy Miller and parts manager Elizabeth Hunter.
Keller, the son of Bob?s Automotive owners Bob and Mary Keller, brings experience in management and the automotive industry. After growing up in the business and learning the industry first hand, he can advise customers about the necessary service for routine maintenance and help identify a mechanical problem.
Keller most recently worked with the automotive parts industry as regional sales manager for NAPA Auto Parts Distribution Center in Des Moines. He is a 1998 graduate of Fairfield High School and a 2003 graduate of Iowa State University with a management of information systems and business degree.
Business After Hours set at McElhinny House
The Fairfield Women?s Club and the McElhinny House will host the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce?s Business After Hours July installment for all chamber members, spouses and guests from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Fairfield Women?s Club will host an old fashion-style tea party with lemonade, iced tea and hors oeuvres.
Chamber members can meet and socialize with the staff and volunteers who make up the driving force of Fairfield Women?s Club.
Business After Hours is a casual networking opportunity to help build business relationships. The events are ideal for meeting fellow professionals and establishing business relationships.
