'It is a real honor to serve community banks from across the state, and to help promote community banking – which is the lifeblood of our state, counties, cities, and towns,” said Eastburn. 'It is also a privilege to represent all the hard working professionals at Iowa State Bank and Trust in Fairfield.”

Main Street Cinemas ownership changes
Main Street Cinemas in Mt. Pleasant has been purchased by MGL Theatres and Jeff Eisentraut of Eisentraut Theatres.
The collaboration between ownership and operating companies - MGL and Eisentraut - has proven to be successful in several other locations in the Midwest and they are looking forward to adding this theatre to their family of operations.
Scott and Amy Lowe, former owners, purchased Temple Twin Theater in 2012.
'We bought the theater when Fridley Theaters announced it was closing because we couldn't imagine Mt. Pleasant without it,” said Lowe. 'Renovating and updating the theater was an incredible experience and we are thankful for the many loyal patrons who enjoy going to the movies. We are confident that the new owners will take great care of the theater and provide quality entertainment options for the community.”
The theater is closed during the transition of ownership, and reopens on Friday, Aug. 30.
