BUSINESS: Hawthorne Community Causes

Alex Kessel, vice president of Little Superheroes, accepts a donation from the Hawthorne Community Causes Committee represented by Sherri Mineart, marketing specialist/contract administrator with Hawthorne. 'It is wonderful to be able to present Little Superheroes with funds to support families in need. Little Superheroes not only provides funding, but helps families know they are not alone and that others care about their children, too,” said Mineart. The Hawthorne Community Causes Committee is part of Hawthorne's larger Corporate Social Responsibility program which makes monthly contributions to the Fairfield community as one of its initiatives. The committee was inspired by founder Tim Hawthorne's dedication to the local community over the past few decades and made possible by the continued generosity of Jessica Hawthorne-Castro. The HCCC is responsible for the usage of the agency's monthly allocated community charitable contributions and selections.
