Cambridge Investment Research Inc. recently added more than a dozen new technology positions to its Information Systems Department to support Cambridge?s rapidly expanding business operations and fuel further development of new technology.
?We are intent on remaining cutting edge and visionary within the technology arena by significantly expanding our existing multi-million dollar technology portfolio,? said Amy Webber, president and chief operating officer. ?Our goal is to expand upon our existing technology infrastructure and leverage emerging trends in technology and digital media.?
Technology positions available at Cambridge include career opportunities in a mature agile development organization using Scrum, with positions available for OO .NET software engineers, quality assurance engineers, SQL Server database administrators and information security specialists.
?As Cambridge continues to grow, we are excited to offer exciting career options to people in the local area as well as those interested in returning or relocating to the area given these new opportunities,? said Webber. ?We offer unique career paths in the financial services industry typically found in large metro areas and are very fortunate to have a talented mix of associates both from and new to southeast Iowa.? At Cambridge, the IS Department has a philosophy which emphasizes team results while maximizing opportunities for individual contribution. Each technology professional is given the opportunity to advance his or her career via Cambridge?s technical mentoring program. This program is personalized to align each associate?s goals with the skills most important to Cambridge and its enterprise objectives. An in-house training program enhances and develops these goals.
