Cambridge associates learn CPR
Cambridge Investment Research Inc. will have nearly 150 associates certified in the administration of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation.
In order to equip associates with the knowledge of the life-saving techniques, Cambridge has offered training sessions with subsidized cost for CPR/AED certification.
In addition to the CPR/AED certifications, Cambridge sponsors and hosts eight blood drives each year. As a result of its most recent drive Aug. 14, 39 units of blood were collected.
?Allowing associates to donate ?on the clock? is Cambridge?s way of demonstrating its commitment to community stewardship. The firm is mindful of associates? time, so we wish to support them by bringing the blood drive directly to the workplace,? said Peggy Fisher, associate vice president of human resources. ?In previous years, summer months have typically seen a reduced number of donations as associates take time off for vacation. This was not the case this year.?
