Cambridge names Stone vice president, controller

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. has named Carla Stone as vice president and controller. 

In her new role, Stone will directly contribute to the formulation of the company?s strategic objectives and tactical initiatives while continuing to direct, supervise and maintain all operational aspects of the accounting and finance teams.

Stone joined Cambridge in 1998 as an accounting assistant and has served as supervisor of financial reporting and director of finance and accounting. During her tenure with the firm, she has continued to take on increasing levels of responsibilities and in 2006, she was named assistant vice president of finance, controller. Stone holds FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) 24 (General Securities Principal) and 27 (Financial and Operations Principal) licenses.
