Candidates set for Henry County school board elections

The four Henry County school districts will hold elections for school board members on Nov. 2.

Mt. Pleasant school board members Kevin Sandersfeld and Willey Amos are running again. Martha Wiley has decided to step down. Derek Mullin is running for the single open seat.

There are two candidates on the ballot in New London, Kyle Helmerson and current member Lindsay Porter. District voters may make two votes.

Winfield is shaping up to be interesting. There are two open seats on the school board, but Aaron Cummings is the lone candidate on the ballot.

Both candidates in the WACO school district are running unopposed. Incumbents Barb Shelman and Tim Graber are on the ballot. Shelman is running for District 4, and Graber is running for the at-large seat.
