Car accident under investigation after 1 sent to HCHC

One was taken to the hospital after a car accident that still is under investigation.
On July 24, at approximately 4:58 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the 2000 grid of 255th Street, in Mt. Pleasant. Upon arrival, law enforcement, medical and fire units found a dark colored passenger car on the south shoulder of 255th Street and debris covering the roadway.
The occupant of the vehicle was identified as Ryan Bentler, of Salem. He was transported to the Henry County Health Center via ambulance to be treated for unknown injuries. An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the accident.
