Car-deer mishap reported near the high school
A car vs. deer accident, which occurred on Friday, Sept. 11, on Grand Avenue near Mt. Pleasant High School resulted in $6,000 in damages to the car.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department?s accident report, Laura Willis was driving a 2006 Honda south on Grand Avenue when a deer entered the road from the east ditch, running west across the road in the path of the Willis vehicle.
