Car strikes deer on Franklin Avenue
A car-deer accident Sept. 22 in the 2500 grid of Franklin Avenue resulted in $6,000 damage to the vehicle.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office reported that a 2016 Chevrolet, operated by Afton Engberg of Mt. Pleasant was traveling south on Franklin Avenue where the vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
