Car T-bones truck in Walmart parking lot
A two-vehicle accident in the Mt. Pleasant Walmart parking lot on Jan. 10 resulted in $4,000 damage to the vehicles.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 1999 Ford truck, owned and operated by Kelly Carver, New London, was driving west in the parking lot following proper traffic flow.

A two-vehicle accident in the Mt. Pleasant Walmart parking lot on Jan. 10 resulted in $4,000 damage to the vehicles.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 1999 Ford truck, owned and operated by Kelly Carver, New London, was driving west in the parking lot following proper traffic flow.
A 2000 Mercury, owned and operated by Bill Leyda, Mt. Pleasant, was driving north in the parking lot, cutting across parking spaces. The car struck the truck in the side in a T-bone collision.
Damage to the truck was $3,000, and damage to the car was $1,000. There were no injuries.
