Car versus deer accident on 218

The Henry County Sherrif's Office was called to the scene of a vehicle collision with a deer in the 2800 Grid of Highway 218 on Friday, Sept. 14, at approximately 5:09 a.m.
Kevin Broadhurst, 28 of Donnellson, was traveling north when a deer cam across Highway 218 from the west in front of the vehicle causing severe damage to the driver's side front and middle of the vehicle. The driver's air bag had been deployed, but Broadhurst did not sustain any injuries.
Broadhurst was also cited for expired registration.
