Car vs deer accident reported in New London

A car versus deer accident on Saturday ended with a car in a ditch in New London.
Randy Bain, 40, of New London, was traveling south on New London Road when a deer ran into the roadway, striking Bain's 2002 Honda Accord. The vehicle went into a skid, entered the east ditch and came to rest. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,500 and no injuries were reported. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by New London Fire and Rescue.
