Cardinal bus in accident

ELDON ? No one was injured in a ?minor fender bender? between a bus and a car this morning in the Cardinal Elementary School drive.

According to Cindy Shepherd, Cardinal?s prekindergarten through fifth grade principal and curriculum director, at about 7:55 a.m. today, a Cardinal school bus, as it was pulling into the drive at minimal speed, impacted a vehicle stopped at the end of the drive.

?It was not a serious accident,? Shepherd wrote in an email sent to superintendent Joel Pedersen, school board members and all parents in the district. ?Both the bus and the private vehicle were operable after the incident. We immediately assessed the cahildren on the bus for injuries, and we assure you that all the appropriate steps were taken.?
