Carol Mary Lampe Wiseman

Carol Mary Lampe Wiseman, 69, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Carol was born Aug. 24, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to Leonard and Margaret Lampe. She worked as a surgical tech in Iowa and Houston. She also worked as a prison guard at Texas Department of Criminal Justice?s Nathaniel J. Neal Unit.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marcia Lampe.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Wiseman and Kyle Wiseman and wife Nicole, all of Amarillo; a grandson, Conner Wiseman of Amarillo; five brothers, Ron Lampe and Bud Lampe, both of Amarillo, Mark Lampe of Burlington, IA, Mike Lampe of Donnellson, IA and Tony Lampe of Smithfield, NC; six sisters, Rosemary Cary of Oshkosh, WI, Colette Moeller of Keller, Lou Ann Leveling of Amarillo, Lenny Kneedy of Greeley, Colo., Jane Woodsmall of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Laura Becker of West Point , IA; and 26 nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, Texas 75034.
