The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield Economic Development Association committee searching for the groups? next leader has hired a firm to aid in the process.
FEDA president Pat Doyle said the committee hired Ploeger Recruiting Services of Burlington after hearing the firm?s presentation during a meeting Monday.
?This is the same company used when we hired Brent [Willett, the current chamber and FEDA executive director], so they have some experience with us,? said Doyle.
Doyle said the committee members are hoping Ploeger will have names and resumes for them within a month.
Ploeger will have prescreened the applicants, Doyle continued, and it will be up to the committee to narrow down that list to the two or three people they would like to interview.
According to Doyle, the committee hopes to have hired a new person within two months, although that person might not be able to be on-the-job until later.
