FAIRFIELD — The Chamber Singers of Southeast Iowa presented a pair of concerts over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, titled “Rejoice and Sing” at Golden Magnolia Sanctuary in Fairfield.
The concert featured Christmas music from around the world, spanning musical eras from the Renaissance to the present day.
In addition to the 16-member group of chamber singers, this year’s concerts featured an instrumental trio who performed interludes between the songs. That trio consisted of organist Paul Skevington, flutist Karen Kouider, and Rosalind Stowe, who played the viola da gamba.
Those who missed the winter concert can see the chamber singers perform during their 2023 spring concert, which will be held at the end of May.
