Chance of freezing rain, maybe snow Friday
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area. Tonight there is a chance for freezing drizzle over the entire outlook area. Slick roads are possible should this freezing drizzle become widespread.
On Friday, freezing drizzle and light freezing rain is possible before precipitation changes over to all rain as temperatures rise above freezing in the afternoon.

On Friday, freezing drizzle and light freezing rain is possible before precipitation changes over to all rain as temperatures rise above freezing in the afternoon.
Minor ice accumulations is possible on paved surfaces, especially north of Interstate 80. Little or no ice accumulation is anticipated in Fairfield.
Friday night, rain will change to snow; accumulation around Fairfield is possible at less than a half-inch.
