Chilly dogs
A late morning dog walk on South Main Street by Jerry Deprey of Fairfield turned out to be a fashion statement for his pugs Pookie and Cassie. Pookie opting for the sleeveless, red nylon shell, and Csssie staying warm in a plaid fleece jacket. Midday temperatures in Fairfield were closer to real winter weather at a chilly 34 degrees.
