Christmas at the McElhinny House

Garden Club Division of the Fairfield Women?s Club turned out Monday to decorate the grand old McElhinny House for Christmas. Lou Snead on the ladder makes final adjustments to the greenery wrapped around one of the front columns while Kay Unkrich, at right, offers advice from below. Barb Smith worked on the railing while Donna Clark was on the balcony and others worked inside to prepare the house for Christmas at the McElhinny House to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 10. No tour of homes is planned this year due to a lack of participants. Women?s club members will have displays of collections and table settings as well as selling frozen chicken casseroles and ham balls, and other items.
