Christmas trees to be collected Jan. 7

Fairfield's Christmas tree pickup will be on Monday, Jan. 7.
The city street department will begin collecting trees at 7 a.m. that day. This service is provided for structures of one to three residential units, not multi-family dwellings of four or more.
This is for Christmas trees only, which must be placed curbside before 7 a.m. to ensure collection. Crews will not return once they have passed by. Please remove all decorations, lights and plastic bags to guarantee that your tree will be picked up. Thank you for your continued cooperation to keep this service free.
