Church celebrates 160 years
The 160th anniversary of Round Prairie Baptist Church of rural Jefferson County will be observed with three days of events beginning Friday, Aug. 24.
There will be services at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 2602 Woodbine Ave., Lockridge, and at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. There will be 9:30 a.m. Sunday School followed by 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship, with dinner on the grounds at 1:30 p.m.
