Citation issued following two-vehicle collision
A two-vehicle accident Saturday at the intersection of Walnut and Washington Streets in Mt. Pleasant resulted in a citation being issued to one of the motorists.

A two-vehicle accident Saturday at the intersection of Walnut and Washington Streets in Mt. Pleasant resulted in a citation being issued to one of the motorists.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department?s accident report, Stephanie Ford, of Solon, was operating a 2008 Nissan westbound on Washington Street when a 2004 Mercury, driven by Daniel Donald, of Mt. Pleasant, attempted to make a left turn onto Walnut Street from Washington. Donald crossed in front of Ford?s vehicle.
Donald was issued a citation for failure to yield upon a left turn. No injuries were reported at the scene. Estimated damage to both vehicles was $6,000.
