In an effort to make information more easily available and government operations more transparent, the city of Fairfield launched a re-designed website Tuesday.
The new site, still at www.cityoffairfieldiowa.com, includes several enhancements and interactive features. Citizens now have the ability to ?Report a Concern? online and track the response. Licenses and permits also may be paid for online.
Citizens may customize the website with ?My Dashboard.?
The new website is designed to be easier to navigate and include more information, even maps and local weather. In addition to information about city departments, council members, city staff and the municipal code, meeting agendas and minutes will be available in a timely manner.
The site also includes links to other major community websites.
The new site was designed by CIVICPLUS, a company specializing in municipal web design.
