City of Fairfield to hold public workshop on Comprehensive Plan update

The city of Fairfield is kicking-off the planning process to create a new Comprehensive Plan for the city with a public workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center's Expo Hall.

The new Comprehensive Plan will address land use, housing, commercial and industrial development, sustainability and the environment, transportation and infrastructure, parks and recreation, and community facilities and services.

Residents are encouraged to attend the public workshop to provide insight and vision for the future of Fairfield. The public workshop will include a presentation with an overview of the planning process as well as a series of engagement exercises to help gain feedback for the plan.
