City orders cars moved for snow plows
Jan. 4, 2022 10:55 am, Updated: Jan. 4, 2022 11:41 am
WASHINGTON — Signs have been posted around the square indicating city crews will be doing snow removal in the area of the public square beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday night
Vehicles parked in this area between 10 p.m. — 6 a.m. may be ticketed. Vehicles that have obviously had plows go around them will receive 24-hour tow warnings. This may result in the vehicle being ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.
In addition, vehicles should not be parked for more than 24 hours on any public property, including streets and city parking lots.
Your assistance in giving crews a safe area to work, allowing the streets to be cleared as safely as possible is appreciated.
