City signs spillway contract with local engineers
The Fairfield City Council signed an engineering services agreement with French-Reneker-Associates Inc. Monday for reconstruction of the spillway at Reservoir No. 2, also known as Pleasant Lake.
The majority of the estimated $560,000 project will be funded by an I-JOBS grant ? the stimulus money covers 80 percent of the cost up to $500,000 and then 50 percent of the remaining amount.
