This morning all 126 sixth-graders helped plant 42 trees on the middle school grounds. Science teacher Corey Klehm shows Rebecca Moore, in front, and Alexis Triska how to tamp the earth around the newly planted Linden tree. Klehm?s classes spent their class period digging holes, carrying water, planting the trees and mulching. Varieties planted were Linden, Elm, Burr Oak, Maple, Honey Locust, Arborvitae and two Apple.
