?Cologne salesmen? draw police attention
Two males, allegedly selling cologne from their vehicles, attracted the attention Tuesday of the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
The police department received a call at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, making reference to suspicious activity by two males in the 2100 block of E. Washington St. (BP convenience store), The caller said the subjects were allegedly selling cologne from their vehicles.

Two males, allegedly selling cologne from their vehicles, attracted the attention Tuesday of the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
The police department received a call at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, making reference to suspicious activity by two males in the 2100 block of E. Washington St. (BP convenience store), The caller said the subjects were allegedly selling cologne from their vehicles.
The subjects were gone upon the officer?s arrival. It was later learned through social media that the men had been peddling in Mt. Pleasant most of the afternoon. One of the persons involved has been identified and has spoken to the police department.
Officials said there are no city permits for these individuals at this time.
Police urge citizens to call in immediately if they observe any suspicious activity and if at all possible, try and obtain as much information about vehicles including license plates.
