How will your high school experiences help you in coming years?
My high school experiences will help me in the upcoming years because I have learned how to stay organized and manage my time wisely. I have also learned how to take time for myself and enjoy the people and things that are most important in my life.
Fondest memory of high school?
My fondest memory in high school has to be playing volleyball. This year our team was determined to go as far as we can, and we made it to the third round of regionals. That was the furthest our team has team has gone in our high school career. I never wanted to stop playing volleyball, it is my favorite sport.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on your education and why?
The teachers that have had the biggest impact on my education would be Mrs. Orr and Mrs. Putnam Genz. They both have pushed me to be the best person that they know I can be. They have also always been there whenever I needed them for help or just to talk too.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you?
My brother Javi Díaz is my role model. He is my role model because he never gave up. When he first went to college he didn’t think it was for him, so he dropped out and started to work at a factory. He was not happy with the job he had and after a couple of years he went back to school and got his degree. My sister and I were so proud of him.
What is special about your high school?
One thing that makes my high school special is that we are so diverse. Our small town is made up of so many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Even though we are all so different we have so much to offer and it brings us together.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?
One piece of advice I would give e my freshman self would be to enjoy it all and soak it all up because it goes by really fast. Have fun and live your life to the fullest because you’ll never get it back .
