Comets split home duals
ELDON ? The Cardinal wrestling team split the double dual on its home mat Thursday evening with a win over West Burlington-Notre Dame and a loss to Mediapolis.
The Comets beat WB-ND 59-18, but fell to Mepo by a final tally of 53-15.

ELDON ? The Cardinal wrestling team split the double dual on its home mat Thursday evening with a win over West Burlington-Notre Dame and a loss to Mediapolis.
The Comets beat WB-ND 59-18, but fell to Mepo by a final tally of 53-15.
Andrew Hemm added two more wins by fall to his season total with first-period pins in both 189-pound matches. Josh Fuhs (160) and Austin Cassat (215) also picked up two victories on the evening with Fush winning a 10-6 decision and Cassat winning by fall vs. Mediapolis.
Fuhs, Cassat, Tyler Batterson (103), Blake Wright (125), Jerod Gooden (130), Joe Olson (145) and Tonch Craver (171) were all winners by forfeit in the blowout win over WB-ND.
Cardinal gets set for a tournament at I-35 in Truro.
