Community events all week at the Henry County Fair

The Henry County Fair is bursting with activities for young and old alike.
The fair gets into high gear on Wednesday, July with the Farmers Market from 4-6 p.m., followed by the Fair Queen Contest at 7:30 p.m. and the outdoor kids’ movie at 9 p.m.
Thursday, July 14, is Farm Bureau Day, and that includes a Farm Family Appreciation Dinner from 5-6:30 p.m. followed by the Bill Riley Talent Show at 7 p.m.
Friday, July 15, features mud volleyball at 5:30 p.m. followed by the IFPA Truck and Tractor Pull.
Saturday, July 16, is Kid's Day starting with a Farmers Market from 8-11 a.m., Prince and Princess Contest at 11:30 p.m., free kids’ activities from noon to 4 p.m., a Demolition Derby at 7:30 p.m. and finally music from The Boys with a beer tent from 9-11 p.m.
Sunday, July 17, starts with an adult bags tournament at noon, then the ATV Rodeo at 4 p.m.
CONTESTS
The Henry County Fair fosters a terrific competitive spirit with a number of contests for the public to enter.
Open class exhibits entry is from 8:30-11 p.m. on Thursday, July 14. The Lego Contest is that same day, with judging at 5 p.m.
The BBQ Contest starts with registration at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 17, with judging at noon.
The Wine & Home Brew Competition is in the Tractor Headquarters, and that starts at 2 p.m. Sunday.
