Two adults aged 61-80 tested positive for coronavirus in Washington County, bringing the total to eight.

Gov. Reynolds announces new COVID-19 cases, including the first in Washington County.
Fareway and Hy-Vee grocery stores announce new hours, allowing elderly and at-risk individuals to shop alone for an hour before general public is let in.
WCHC announces the opening of a respiratory triage unit.
Tuesday, March 17: 27 cases statewide
Gov. Reynolds signs Senate File 2408 into law, initiating the release of additional funds for Medicaid, other health programs and the state hygenic laboratory. The bill also waives the required days students must be in school to allow school buildings to remain closed.
Reynolds also issues a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency proclamation, prohibiting restaurants and bars from serving dine-in customers. The proclamation also orders limits of public gatherings to no more than 10 people.
Local restaurants begin to serve takeout and delivery only.
