COSC offers free energy efficiency, rehabilitation training
COSC is offering its Energy Efficiency and Rehabilitation Training workshop in a one-day session.

COSC is offering its Energy Efficiency and Rehabilitation Training workshop in a one-day session.
The last two free sessions will be offered Wednesday in Altoona and Saturday in Council Bluffs.
Attendees will gain knowledge of leading green building rehabilitation energy efficient techniques, benefits, red flags and more. A workshop is a learning opportunity for: contractors, architects, inspectors, municipalities, homeowners, building owners, realtors, developers and students.
Contractors who successfully complete either of the workshops receive a certificate of completion and are qualified to work on projects funded by the Jefferson County Energy Rewards Loan Program.
The workshop Wednesday is part of the Habitat for Humanity of Iowa?s building workshop conference in Altoona. COSC?s condensed energy efficiency rehab training will begin at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. It is free, but registration is required.
The workshop Saturday at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs also is free, but registration is required.
