City council member Roger Gosnell is stepping down and not running for election.
Four city council incumbents, Kaye Cranston, Linda Durflinger, Jerry Potts and Reed Vass, will face three challengers, Missy Streeby, Laura Thompson and Craig Brown, for the five city council seats. All city council seats are at-large.
Residents will also vote on a public measure in November.
?The public measure is to approve staggered elections in two different years for the city council,? said Carrie Teninty, Eldon city clerk. ?If it is approved, we won?t have the full city council up for re-election all in the same year.?
