Counterfeit bills lead to arrest
A Davenport man has been arrested in Des Moines, accused of passing counterfeit $100 bills.
The Des Moines Register says 31-year-old Anthony Cole was arrested early Thursday on a charge of forgery.
A bartender told officers that Cole bought drinks with one bill and then bought another round with another bill. The bartender says the bills didn?t feel right, didn?t have water marks and had the same serial number.

The officers arrested Cole, who hadn?t left the bar.
He remains in Polk County Jail. Online court records don?t list the name of his attorney.
