County deputies make two alcohol-related arrests

Henry County Sheriff?s deputies made a pair of alcohol-related arrests recently.

Jennifer Coates, 31, of Wayland, was arrested Saturday, Aug. 15, for public intoxication (simple misdemeanor) during a disturbance at The Bar in Wayland.

The previous day (Friday, Aug. 14), officers responded at 7:43 a.m., to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Lexington Avenue near Highway 78.

Tiffany Stogdill, 33, of Craw-fordsville, was the driver of the vehicle and arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense (serious misdemeanor), and failure to maintain control (simple misdemeanor).

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
