County under burn ban
Henry County is officially under a burn ban, according to information received at the Henry County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday.
A burn ban means that burning in opening areas is prohibited until further notice. Violation of the ban is a simple misdemeanor.
A burn ban is also in effect in Des Moines and Lee counties.
