Lucas Aaron Dewes, 37, of Brighton, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one year in Jefferson County Jail, less credit for time served. All but 30 days was suspended. He will have work release. He was placed on probation for one year. He was ordered to complete a drinking driver?s course. He was ordered to get substance abuse evaluation and treatment within 45 days. His driver?s license was revoked for 180 days. He was ordered to not sell, purchase or register any motor vehicle during that 180 days. He was fined $1,875 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file.
